Five steps
Look at your favourites
Pick the five pieces you wear most and love. What do they have in common: colours, shapes, fabrics?
Collect ideas
Save outfits you like from magazines, social media or the street, for a few weeks.
Find the patterns
Look at what you saved: the same colours, fits or moods keep coming back.
Name it in three words
For example: “relaxed, minimal, warm” or “bold, sharp, playful”. Use the words to judge new pieces.
Experiment slowly
Try one new piece at a time, and keep what feels like you.
Keep it yours
Your style can change with your life, your work and your mood. Revisit your three words every year or two.
